Random Wednesday

---This morning on the way to work, I was flipping channels and stopped when I heard, "If I Was Your Girl" by Janet. You remember that song? In the video they did that dance with the arms and the funky foot work? Well, I used to run around my grandmother's house with ponytails swinging in the air singing that song. And I had no clue she was saying, "I'll make you call out my name. I'll ask who it belongs to." I used to just hum the last sentence. Hmmm.... who would've thought???


---Also, on my way to work... I'm sitting at a red light. I look to my right and see a woman in a little green car. The first thing that I noticed was how pretty she was. (I'm definitely not a hater. I celebrate my beautiful sisters! ) So anywho, I happened to look back over and saw two little heads bobbing in the back. These kids had not NAN seatbelt on! They actually needed to be in car seats. They were jumping all in between the two front seats, just having a good time! I saw her turn around. I thought she was going to reprimand them. Nope, she kept on talking to whoever was in the passenger seat. When the light turned green, she pulled off!!!

---I've been in a Ne-Yo/Anthony Hamilton mood. Don't know where that came from. But I can't stop listening to their latest albums.

---Some may say I'm crazy, stupid even. But I don't know about this. We get what we ask for and then don't want it. SMH.

--How about I totally like that song by Timbaland/ Drake... "I'ma need you to say something baby!!" What in the world? It's all your fault Jen!! But seriously. I'ma need you to just say something. Simple. OH! And Pretty Girls by Wale. I'm such a heathen. It's my ringtone!!!! :o

---God's grace is incomprehensible to me. I run away so many times. But I look around and He is still there gently calling me back. I'm not out there like that! It's really a mental thing. Yesterday some words were spoken to me and this morning He gave me confirmation. He's a good God. Don't knock Him till you try Him.

---So, I wrote a long blog and then chickened out and took it down because it wasn't very nice. It was TRUE! But not nice. I'll let God handle all of that. See, I'm growing. =)
