Loving Me for Me
BOOO!!!! I couldn't get through the book! lol! I am the worst! Me and my roomie began reading the book at the same time and both gave up after chapter 2! Sigh... I will try to push my way through it. But the way T.D. Jakes writes annoys me. Just cut to the chase! Leave all of the metaphors and round-abouts out! Anywho... I was feeling my hair this morning and decided to give myself a photo shoot on the way to work and in the office. LOL! I love me:

Why buy a book and then attack the reader for not writing the way you like to have a book written.... Many people reach others many different ways... Different strokes for different folks.... I persoanlly enjoy the way Jakes writes and so do a lot of other people or he wouldn't have had so many best sellers, I was shocked when I read you were a Christian, you comments seemed a little mean spirited to be one... sorry if I misunderstood your intent....
I think you did misunderstand my intent. Just because I am a Christian doesn't mean I don't have an opinion. I apologize if it seemed as though I was attacking him. But I personally do not like like his style of writing. And that's my opinion. =)

I go to the Potter's House and I fell ya' on the writing style. I fell that way about a few black intellectuals,e,g. Eric Michael Dyson, Cornell West, Tavist Smiley. It's just a style preference.
I am a get to the point kinda girl myself. So I feel ya' No need to questions someone's christianity because they have an opinion.

Well She Goes to my Church i know she's a Holy Ghost filled, Walking talking Christian machine. Yes she is Ummmmm hun. :)
